1. 这附近有百货商场吗？Is there a department store nearby?

 注：跟shopping mall 类似的还有shopping center（购物中心）或shopping plaza [ˈplɑːzə]（购物广场），一般集购物、餐饮、娱乐为一体；另外还有strip mall（单排商业区、步行商业街）、outlet mall（直销折扣店、奥特莱斯）。

2. 我想去超市买点日常用品。

 I’d like to go to the supermarket to buy some daily necessities.

 Where is the nearest supermarket? 最近的超市在哪里？

 注：旅游途中可能需要购买的物品：电池（battery [ˈbætəri]）、牙膏（toothpaste）、牙刷（toothbrush）、卫生巾（sanitary towel）、防晒霜（sun cream）、雨伞（umbrella）、水壶（canteen [kænˈtiːn]）、即食食品（instant food）等。

  注：flea market跳蚤市场，是欧美等西方国家对旧货地摊市场的别称，与swap meet（旧货交换会）相近。
