Part I  Useful Sentences 惯用单句

1. 嗨，出租车！Hi, taxi!  = Hey, taxi!  = Taxi!

 注：美国东部人和某些英格兰人常用cab 指“出租车”。

2. 我需要叫辆出租车。I need a taxi, please.

  Could you book a taxi to take me to the airport tomorrow morning please?

  您能帮我订辆出租车明早送我去机场吗？

  注：这是对宾馆的门卫或者前台说的，让他帮您叫车或者订车。

3. 请载我到这个地址。Please take me to this address.

  Take me to the airport. 送我去机场。

  London Hotel, please. 请到伦敦饭店。

  I need to go to the long-distance bus terminal. 我需要去长途汽车站。

  问：Where to, sir? 先生，您要去哪里？

   Do you have to drive this fast? 您必须要开得这么快吗？

   There is no need to hurry. 不必着急。

11. 您可以一小时后回来接我们吗？

   Could you please come back to pick us up in an hour?

12. 这里面太冷了。It’s too cold in here.

   It’ too hot in here. 这里面太热了。

   Could you turn the heat up? 您可以把暖气开大一点吗？

 Do you have change for a hundred?  = Can you break a hundred?

 Can you give me a change for this? 您有零钱可以找吗?

 break v. 兑开，兑成零钱   change 零钱

18. 请在前方路口下车。Please drop me off at the next intersection.

   Let me off here, OK? 可以让我在这里下车吗？

   I’ll get off here. 我要在这里下车。

   注：马路上除了“路口”，您还会看到：srteetlight（路灯）、street sign（路标）、traffic light（红路灯）、crosswalk（斑马线）、sidewalk（人行道）、stop line（停止线）、double yellow lines（双黄线）、fire hydrant（消防栓）。

19. 零钱收着。Keep the change.

   Here is a tip for you. 这是给您的小费。

20. 我要一张收据。I need a receipt.  =  Give me a receipt.

   May I have a receipt? 我可以要一张收据吗？

   Sure. Here you are. 当然，给您。

   Here is your receipt. Have a nice day. 这是您的收据，祝您愉快。
