Part I  Useful Sentences 惯用单句

1. 请给我一份热狗和一份可乐。I’ll have a hot dog and a coke, please.

  注：快餐店的其他饮食：汉堡（burger [ˈbɜːɡə(r)]）、三明治（sandwich [ˈsænwɪdʒ]）、馅饼（pie）、披萨（pizza [ˈpiːtsə]）、土豆泥（mashed potatoes [mæʃt]）等。

2. 我想要7号套餐。I’ll take the set meal No. 7. = A No. 7 combo, please.  

 combo [ˈkɒmbəʊ] n. 套餐  

  注：套餐名称：家庭套餐（family set meal）、全家桶（family bucket meal [ˈbʌkɪt]）、儿童套餐（kid’s meal）。

3. 请给我一大份炸薯条。A large fries, please.

  fries n. （复数）炸薯条 [fraɪz]

  注：fries 是French fries 的缩写，“薯条”还可称作chips。薯条还有小份（small）和中份（medium）。

4. 我能把可乐换成果汁吗？Can I change the coke to a juice?

  What drinks can I change the coke to? 我能把可乐换成别的什么饮料？

  注：coke（可乐）、juice（果汁）、coffee（咖啡）等表示饮料的名词一般是不可数的，但在口语中当表示一杯、一瓶、一罐饮料时，量词可以省略。例如：a juice = a cup of juice / a bottle of juice（一杯/一瓶果汁）、
