1. 我要投诉。I have a complaint. = I want to make a complaint.

  I’m going to complain to your manager about this! 我要向你们经理投诉这件事！

  答：What’s the problem? Can I be of assistance?

 发生了什么问题？我能帮上忙吗？

2. 空调出故障了。

 There’s something wrong with the air conditioner.

 = The air conditioner doesn’t work properly.

3. 这个房卡打不开房门。

 I can’t open the door with the room key. = The key card fails to work.

4. 电话打不通。My call won’t get through.    get through 接通电话

  I can’t call out. 我没办法打外线。

5. 有个灯好像坏了。One of the lights seems broken.

  The bedside lamp doesn’t light. 床头灯不亮。

6. 电视机只有声音，没有图像。The TV has sound but no picture.

  The remote control doesn’t work. 遥控器不管用了。

7. 不能上网。I can’t get online.

  The Internet speed is too slow. 网速太慢。

  The Internet keeps dropping its connection. 网络总是掉线。

8. 大多数插座都不能用。Most of the power sockets aren’t working.

9. 床单很脏。The sheets are dirty.

11. 隔壁房间很吵。It’s very noisy next door.

   It’s too noisy outside. 外面太吵了。

   The room isn’t soundproof at all. 房间一点也不隔音。

   soundproof  a. 隔音的 -proof 一般放在名词后面，表示“防......的，抗...... 的”，如 waterproof 防水的

12. 马桶塞住了。The toilet is blocked.

   block  v. 阻塞，堵塞

13. 宾馆员工服务态度不好。

 The staff has a very poor attitude. = The staff treats me poorly.

 The service for guest room is too slow. 客房服务太慢。

14. 我给客房部打了几次电话，但一直没人来修。

   I have called housekeeping several times but no one has come to fix it.

15. 这个房间不值这么多钱。The room isn’t worth the price.

   Everything is not as good as I expected. 所有的东西都没有我想象中好。

16. 我要换个房间。I want to change a room.

   Can I move to another room? 我能不能搬到别的房间住？

   Could you please change the room for me? 您能给我换个房间吗？

   No problem, sir. 没问题，先生。

   We’ll manage it; but we don’t have any spare room today.

 我们会尽力办到，但是今天我们没有空余房间。

 Could you wait till tomorrow. 等到明天好吗？

17. 没有热水。There’s no hot water.

   The water is too cold for me to have a shower. 对我来说，水太凉了洗不了淋浴。

18. 我还没收到我送洗的衣物。I haven’t received my laundries yet.

   I checked my returned laundry, and found a piece was lost.

19. 窗户打不开。The window won’t open.

20. 我等行李已经等了一个小时了，行李哪去了？

   I’ve been waiting for my bags for one hour. Where are they?

21. 你可否请经理来？Could you get the manager?

   I want to talk to the manager. 我要和经理谈谈。

   Where is your manager? 你们经理在哪儿？

   Get your manager to me! 把你们经理给我找来！
