Customer: | Hello. Do you have any tables available? Sorry, but we don’t have a reservation. |
Receptionist: | I’m sorry but we are fully booked at the moment. But you are welcome to have a seat at the bar in case anything opens up. How many in your party? |
Customer: | There are four of us. Are there many people ahead of us? |
Receptionist: | Yes. I’m afraid there is a bit of a wait. There are five couples ahead of you. But we can check your coats and get you a drink while you wait. |
Customer: | Thanks and can we have a menu to look at? How long do you think we will need to wait? |
Receptionist: | It will be at least 45 minutes. I will come and get you as soon as a table is ready. |
Customer: | Thanks. |
